The Kale 400 L wheelbarrow sprayer is a self-contained crop protection unit for growers who need mains-free spraying across orchards, vineyards, greenhouses and open field crops. A 400 L polyester tank with 4 mm walls and a graduated level gauge sits on a maneuverable wheelbarrow chassis, while its 5.5 – 6 HP petrol engine makes the machine fully independent of tractor power or electricity supply.
Drive is transmitted from the petrol engine by belt and pulley to a Kale EK-1 / EK-2 piston pump, which draws spray liquid from the tank and delivers it to the pressure control unit. Regulated liquid then passes through the hoses to the spray gun for atomization. An automatic bypass returns circulating liquid to the tank whenever the gun is closed, so shutting off the spray gun causes no damage to the pump.
